The Bookish Bard

Just want to preface this post by saying most of my books are in read condition 😂 Especially this one, which I’ve read at least ten times!

Part 2 of my Beautiful Books series is Assassin’s Apprentice by the wonderful Robin Hobb.

Again, I’m not going into the content here, but rather the aesthetics. This is the stunning illustrated edition by Del Rey, and the illustrations are truly incredible, really capturing the heart of the scenes.

My favourite is a young Fitz receiving his pin from old King Shrewd 🥹
